On-site work has started to determine the route for the water pipeline that will connect Goulburn to the Sydney Catchment Authority water supply at Wingecarribee Reservoir.
Members of the Highlands Source Project team, including Goulburn Mulwaree Council staff and engineers from project managers GHD Pty Ltd, started assessing areas where the pipeline could be laid this week. They are first considering public land, including the Council farm at Murray’s Flat and road reserves.
Letters have also been written to private landholders in areas being assessed for the pipeline.
