Aged and Disability Services

Goulburn Mulwaree Council offers a number of Community Services to residents of the local government area. The McDermott Centre is the base for community services offered by Council.

Services include -

  • Respite Services
    Offers centre based respite care for frail aged persons with centre based meals, social morning teas and activities during the day.
  • Leisure Link
    A recreation program which aims to provide and promote independence and community integration for people with a physical or intellectual disability aged between 15 and 45 years.
  • Neighbour Aid
    A program of community support and assistance to elderly, disabled people in the Goulburn Mulwaree area.
  • Community Transport Provides transport for frail aged people, younger people with disabilities carers and people living in rural remote areas who may be transport isolated.
